What is the best way to treat "backne" (back acne)?

Treating body acne requires a two-step approach: non-stripping cleansing and mineral detoxification. Using an authentic Castile soap ensures the skin isn't stripped of essential lipids, while a weekly application of a Black Lava or French Green Clay mask helps to physically decongest pores and absorb excess sebum.

Can I use the same clay mask on my face and my back?

Yes. By Valenti® masks are anhydrous (powder) formulas that are highly concentrated. They are ideal for the thicker skin on the back as they provide deep mineral purification. For the body, we recommend activating the mask with slightly more water for easier spreadability over larger surface areas.

Why is your Castile soap better for blemish-prone skin?

Traditional soaps often contain palm oil or tallow, which can be comedogenic (pore-clogging) for certain individuals. By Valenti® soaps are vegetable-based and free from these ingredients, providing a clean-rinsing, non-stripping wash that helps prevent further follicular occlusion.
